In 2014, Oxy-Low began a journey to change the packaging industry with a focus on protecting commodities that require the best preservation possible. With a clear vision to develop advanced machines that safeguard quality and improve efficiency, we are proud to celebrate a major milestone this year—the production of our 50th Spread Flush Seal (SFS) Packaging Unit. This achievement reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and customer trust over the past decade.

About Oxy-Low and the SFS Packaging Unit & SFS Full Size

Oxy-Low specializes in sustainable food packaging solutions that maintain the quality of commodities without the need for chemical fumigation or freezing. Alongside the standard SFS Packaging Unit, we also offer the SFS Packaging Full Size, designed specifically to handle larger packages like big bags, octabins, wooden bins, and other large containers. Both versions provide flexibility, allowing us to offer solutions tailored to specific commodities and packaging sizes.

Our SFS Packaging Units use low-oxygen technology, supported by our patented gas-tight SMART in-liner®. By replacing vacuum with nitrogen, the SFS quickly creates and maintains ultra-low oxygen conditions, which help protect sensitive commodities and preserve their quality. This modified atmosphere approach ensures effective insect control with a 99.99% mortality rate for all insect stages, while the sealed packaging prevents re-infestation during storage and transport. These units are essential for any supply chain focused on quality preservation and shelf life extension.

A Heartfelt Thank You

Our journey started with the goal of building the best machines in the world. With our first SFS unit, we committed to rigorous testing, continuous learning, and constant improvement. Reaching this 50-unit milestone would not have been possible without the trust and loyalty of our customers. Your support has been vital to our growth, and we sincerely thank you.

We are pleased to announce a special collaboration with the renowned Dutch company, Royal Delft. To celebrate our 50th unit, we are presenting our customers with a unique Oxy-Low x Royal Delft tile as a symbol of future possibilities.

Looking ahead, we are excited to keep innovating and striving toward new goals. Here’s to the next 50 units and many more successful years. Thank you for being a part of Oxy-Low’s journey—together, we look forward to new milestones!
